#88 - Dance Dance Dance

Infinite's Be Mine Dance Practice!

Do you hear me… Do you hear me… oh

INFINITE – BE MINE

[L] I watched over it, you love, the long farewell
[WooHyun] Rather than always getting hurt, this is better
[SungJong] Look at me carefully. It’s because i don’t like you crying
[SungGyu] Being hurt is tiring, yeah~ everytime I see you like that

[All] be mine, I love you, okay.. ou~?
I worry about you, okay.. ou~?
I’ll take care of you till the end
be mine, you know me, right.. ou~?

I’ll protect you till the end

[SungYeol] Do you hear me…? Do you hear me…? oh

[Hoya] the end of your wet eyes full of memories, I hope it dies in my embrace
[DongWoo] I try to at least protect you, who quietly heard the falling tears being swallowed by ripped hearts

[L] I think it’s over flowing, you were always like that to me
[SungGyu] My heart expands as your hurt grows
[SungJong] Come to me, it’s because I like when you smile
[WooHyun] I’ll make comfortable dor you, yeah.. at least I can for you..

[All] Be mine, I love you, okay.. ou~?
I worry about you, okay.. ou~?
I ’ll take care of you till the end
[All] Let’s go together, don’t walk onto the harder path, okay, eo?
it wasn’t easy, right eo?
I don’t want to see you like that ever again (Oh)
be mine, I love you, okay.. ou~?
I worry about you, okay.. ou~?
I’ll take care of you till the end

[DongWoo] Will you fight, will you hurt again. In an endless ring of hurt, it’s always a quiet war. That’s to much to you. With a shield of worry, I stand in front of you and..
[HOYA] I revolve around you like a moon. The light are turn off in your love, so leave it and look at me. I’ll cover your deep scars, and make you laugh. And make you mine..

#87 - Be Mine

A week since I've blogged!
I'm here again to post another entry to keep my blog alive ^.^

How's everyone? Yeah, I know that December seems to pass by prettty fast,
 vroom vroom,
Like a furious car. Yes, and that means less than two weeks away, I'll be receiving my National Exams' results.
Doomsday, I'm really afraid of receiving my results, I'm afraid of my languages. It takes one to kill it all. Imagine you get an A1 for the relative subjects then you get a C5 or 6 or even D7 for your English, it's called, 'The End'. The result slip will look ugly. It's been long since I last studied, and I'm not prepared to let my ears take any news about academics. My heart ain't even prepared for any heart attacks. I'm really hoping that I'll do well, up to my expectations.

These days, I really can't sleep. I've been thinking so much. All the (what ifs), all drowning my thoughts...
What if I fail my English?
What if I get C for English?
What if my raw score is a double digit >10?
What if I didn't get my usual A1s?
What if I can't go Junior College?
What if i get laughed at? What if...
What if....
What if.....

I'm really scared. I've allowed myself to play hard and sleep well these two months, as a reward for my hard work for the past three years. I really hope that my efforts won't be futile. I've prayed really hard for myself and tried my best. But to my mind, I've been instilled with the 'It's not enough' thought. I tried to comfort my mind, but nothing seems to be working. I once told myself, reaching my goal is a success, and being the top scholar is just bonus. Really? Anyone who understands me out there? Hell no. My mind is going like: Top scholar is not a bonus, but a do-or-die thing. I can't take this any more. I don't want history to repeat itself. I don't want the feeling where you are like whoaaaa~, then your heart sink.... That's what I've once experienced at a young age of 12, and never in my life I want to experience it again. It just hurts so badly. It's as if the whole world turned their tables against you, and you are all alone to fight the war out there. So please, I really want some good news.

Been really bored these days by the way. Yeah, I attended the farewell by juniors yesterday too! Needed that totally, to reduce my stress level. Well, although the gathering was a short one, but it was really fun.

And.... I got the
  Most Enthusiastic Award

Totally unexpected and expected at the same time. I mean, I didn't expect  me to receive an award, but expected this award to BE MINE. I mean, I may be too enthusiastic some times, yet the smile I give all my juniors and friends when they're tired or down during casting really makes me go into a state of euphoria. When you make someone happy, you'll feel happy too. I really miss juniors and it was great that some of them stayed till night and we hanged out at McDonalds, talking and sharing a lot. ^.^
Awesome, indeed.

Oh yeah, so by the way, I've been practising Infinite's "Be Mine" 's Chorus dance. Haven't been dancing and singing a lot this year due to the exams. Now, I can finally enjoy myself and release all my stress with the dancing. So I'm done with the chorus part and I'm proud of myself. With no talent, I've made my hard work proven to be a success. I'm going to be a new me, taking on new challenges. I once vowed on twitter, that in 2012, I'll change. I don't only want to excel in my studies but I also want to try something new, and have more talents. I need skills, dancing, singing, all my passions discovered. So right now, would you be mine? My dear readers? ^.^

Bye yeom~!

#86 - A Birthday Treat

Promises aren't meant to be broken, but rules are.
Great thing, I didn't break my promise again. Back with photos for Sister's birthday.

Headed all the way to The Central just to have my virgin try of Ma Maison. Sadly, initial plan screwed. Ma Maison was to be opened at 6pm that day. It was quite screwed up that day though, with SMRT train services down, and we had to resort to taking 190 all the way to town, and then it poured. How mad could this be?

So, the feeling was damn annoying when you make your way to the shop and then they tell you it's not opened yet.
 Screwed up not enough.
The rain just spoilt the atmosphere, plus we had to walk quite a distance before reaching The Central.

Okay, whatever. So we happened to chanced upon WATAMI, a Japanese restaurant. Yeah, so it was my treat for my sister's birthday. Awwww, how diabetic-ally sweet a brother I am.

So here are the photos! And perhaps some ratings too. This restaurant is not bad!

We got the special set for 2!

Our drinks, mine was citrus tea, which is lime plus red tea. My sis got herself citrus cola, lime plus cola.
Mine tasted better, but was super sweet. Hers, the opposite!

The salad with lots of dressing! This, to me is damn nice. The sauce, if I'm not wrong, is made by the restaurant itself. It's unique, with a salty and creamy flavour, along with sesame fragrance. So it's quite appetising!

Ratings:
Salad: 4 / 5

Salmon Sashimi! Mostly mine since my sister preferred cooked ones. It's quite fresh, except for the fact that it was sliced too thickly. So it's kind of disgusting after you take quite a few mouthfuls.

Ratings:
Salmon Sashimi: 3.5 / 5

A fried tofu dish dipped in tempura sauce perhaps. It's deep fried and although bland, it tast good after soaking it in the tempura sauce!

Ratings:
Fried Tofu dish: 4 / 5

Some omelette thing. I love the cheezy-ness of this. It's better than the one I ate at Japan. Yet, it's rather salty so you have to match it with maybe rice, or drink up some water.

Ratings:
Omelette: 3 / 5

Beef Sukiyaki  perhaps. It's worth it since it's filled to the brim. I think this is quite similar to the one I had in Japan, called the 'Shabu Shabu'. The soup is sweet and salty at the same time. Nevertheless, the contents are quite yummy!

Ratings:
Beef Sukiyaki: 3.5 / 5

This is the Udon that comes with it!

Bibimbap! How thoughtful they are, not wanting you to scald your hand, by placing the stone bowl in a box. However, the stone bowl was too hot I guess, the rice at the bottom got burnt pretty fast. If not for the high burning speed, it would have tasted better, cause the beef in this is nice! The waitress was quite thoughtful actually, since she advised us to quickly finish it, if not it'll be burnt!

Ratings:
Bibimbap: 4 / 5

So much for 2 only @ $59!

Restaurant's overall scores

Ambience: 8.5 / 10
Food:  22 / 30
Service: 8.5 / 10
Restaurant: 39/ 50 [78.0%]
That's a A1!

So I'll recommend it!

#85 - SNSD & The Dangerous Boys

Hey peeps! A new variety show is here!
It's none other than SNSD & The Dangerous Boys!

Yes, this is a brand new variety show, where SNSD get to know delinquents, around 17-19 years old, and counsel them, changing them into good kids!
Can you imagine this? Getting counselled by SNSD and talking and playing with them face-to-face. How lucky those naughty kids could be? How I wish I was one of them. Okay no, I'm a good kid. It really makes me feel jealous, since I really love SNSD! I'm so envious right now~!

Here's some pictures for the show.

Alright, so it's a very interesting show and it has started airing. So if you wanna watch, you can simply watch it via Youtube, or simply subscribe to taenacity. There will be English Subtitles for you to understand the show too! So please support it!
Thanks!

Bye-yeom!

#84 - An Early Christmas

I didn't break my promise. Thanks for trusting me too ^.^
Yes, I'm back with the photos for the Christmas Lunch over at Park Royal Hotel, located along Beach Road.
So as usual, I'm gonna just give some reviews about the food right there, and sorry, I didn't really bother to take the pictures of the food one by one.

Let the journey begin!

(Sorry, but I'll only be evaluating majority of the food, not all)

Plaza Brasserie Buffet,
Park Royal Hotel Singapore.

Our table, for 20 people.
Even though only 17 of us turned up.

The seating area, for each person.

The fresh cooked food area, prawns and mussels.
The prawns were very juicy and very fresh, yet the mussels tasted a little odd for me. It has a distinct sea and sandy flavour which I don't like. *Meh*
Ratings:
Prawns: 4 / 5
Mussels: 2 / 5

(Sorry for grading here, didn't take a picture of my plate)

The main courses, there're Hainanese Chicken Rice, Hainanese Chicken, KaiLan, Braised Meat/ Sea Cucumber (I guess), Soft shell crab too.

Dessert Area.

The salad sauces and dressings, but I didn't use any of them ><.

Salads! There's sea cucumber salad, egg salad, potato salad, thai spicy seafood salad and some more...

CheeseBoard!

Bread and Buns for the butter and different kinds of Cheese.

The French Loaf is superb!
It's really fragrant and tastes good!

Sushi! Didn't try it obviously since in a buffet, rice and any other flour-based food will make you full easily!

Soft Shell Crab! This is one of the nicest soft shell crab I've ever tasted. It's a dish that everyone favoured, and it runs out pretty fast. My cousins took nearly the whole tray of it for their first round. The cream along it's side for dipping taste delicious with the soft shell crab.

Fruits!

Next on, are some of the dishes tried.

The Chicken Rice taste like any other normal chicken rice that you can find in hawker centres or food courts. If you want better chicken rice, you can try it at the hawker centre at Jurong East. The Soft Shell Crab is mad nice, and I'll definitely recommend it to everyone!

Ratings:
Chicken Rice: 2.5 / 5
Soft Shell Crab: 4.5 / 5

The Cheese board looks rather appealing yet some of the cheese tasted a little too bitter, but the rest are fine. The french loaf is a must try!

Ratings:
Cheese Board: 3 / 5
French Loaf: 4 / 5

The different types of salad and some dimsum along with some western pastries I guess.
In clockwise direction starting from 12'o clock, there's the Thai Seafood Salad, some fried dough which taste sweet, the egg and cucumber on a bread, a dumpling, a potato salad and lastly the egg salad.

Thai Seafood Salad: It taste spicy and sour, which is alright, yet it's rather dry.
Fried food: It taste sweet and a little like wedges though.
Egg and cucumber on a toast: I didn't try this but my sister said that it was nice, so well. Leave it up to you to decide.
Dumpling: It's stuffed to the brim, with lots of different diced meat and vegetables inside. The flavour is acceptable, just that it's a little sticky.
Potato Salad: It has a refreshing taste and it opens up your appetite as it is coupled with perhaps some capsicum or tomatoes.
Egg Salad: Didn't try this too, but my sister said that there's more of other contents in the salad than the egg.

Ratings:
Thai Seafood Salad: 2.5 / 5
Fried food: 3 / 5
Egg & Cucumber on a Toast: 4 / 5
Dumpling: 3 / 5
Potato Salad: 4 / 5
Egg Salad: 2.5 /5

The hotplates, Oyster omelette and Prata! This is just one flavour of the prata, there's many more. Eg. Durian, chocoate, ham, plain, banana flavoured ones. Taste pretty good. The Oyster Omelette was rather sticky and there's too much cornstarch in it. If you want better ones, I recommend you take a trip to Habourfront and try the one at the bus interchange. It taste better.

Ratings:
Oyster Omelette: 2.5 / 5

Went on to try the meat, turkey and more. Well, the turkey was rather dry and tasted better when dipped into the cranberry sauce. Based on my opinion, I would recommend that you don't try the cranberry sauce itself. It has a herb taste that is rather strange for me, tasted a little like Strepsils original flavour. The piece of ham at the bottom was rather a bad experience for me. I had to hold my breath while I eat it. It tasted totally like pork intestine soup and afterwards, your whole mouth will be filled with a porky taste. Mehhh!

Ratings:
Turkey: 3 / 5
Ham (Pink): 3.5 / 5
Ham (Grey): 1 / 5

The Salad, not mine. My uncle's, just snapped a photo of it.

The Salmon Sashimi and the Sushis. I think it tasted good, that my cousins took more servings of it.

The PRATAS!  Banana Prata, Chocolate Prata and Ham Prata. The Chocolate ones are those with rainbow rice scattered on top. Must be eaten hot so that the chocolate will run in your mouth. Not bad! I preferred the banana one though, cause it had an essence that will stay in your mouth and it is not very oily. The ham one tasted ordinary. The durian prata is really good from what I heard, but didn't get a chance to eat it since it always finish before I could take.

Ratings:
Banana Prata: 4 / 5
Chocolate Prata: 3.5 / 5
Ham Prata: 3 / 5
Durian Prata: 4.5 / 5

The bread and biscuits again. The biscuit stick is quite hard and the taste is weird. Other than that, the rounded biscuits and the french loaf are absolutely fine and tasty!

Fruits & waffles for the fondue. Not up to my expectations.

Ratings:
Fondue & Fruits: 2.5 / 5

The Sharkfin Soup for Soup of the Day. Tasted like Sharkfin, yet there's hardly any sharkfin in it. I only chanced upon a few pieces, and they added ham into it. A bad choice to add ham. The soup was not bad, just that it lacks the chewy feel.

Ratings:
Brasied Sharkfin Soup: 3 / 5

Desserts!
Apple Crumble and Chocolate Mousse!

Ratings:
Dessert: 3.5 / 5

Shot with cousins, I promised, a clearer version!
*Smile*

*No Smile*
Which is better? When I smile or not? Please comment at the bottom of this entry! Thanks!

My 13 month old nephew, Aayden!

End of with a group shot. 11 cousins only ):
Can't wait for CNY!

Alright, overall ratings coming right up!

Restaurant's overall scores

Ambience: 8.5 / 10
Food:  73 / 115
Service: 8.5 / 10
Restaurant: 90/ 135 [66.7%]
That's a B3!

(Sorry, I won't post the address, unless it's an A2/A1 grade!)
(But you can ask me if you want)

That's all, Bye-yeom! Sorry for the poor ratings!
