#75 - Well Spent

Hey peeps!
Sorry for not blogging for many days, and not having pictures in any of my recent posts. I apologise for that, so do forgive me! I've been too tired to update these days since I'm helping my Mum at work! Yes, for all those who didn't follow me on twitter, you probably don't know that I'm working. Sounds contradicting since I told myself that I don't feel like working, but now, I want to work. I want to gain more experience, be independent, and, EARN MONEY, since the Scholarship award this year don't really appeal to me.

(you must be wondering why I said so...)

And the reason is, for those of you who received the letter informing you that you've been awarded the scholarship, read carefully. It says that you'll be awarded with a certificate and an award voucher.

Award VOUCHER, did you catch that? That means we're gonna be receive. g vouchers instead of the usual $650 / $400? No, I don't want voucher, it simply restricts the freedom of the prize money. The letters in the past used to mention, you will receive a certificate and a cheque. So what now? I guess I'll have to pray that the voucher they're referring to is cheque, cause if it's a voucher, what can I do?

I doubt that the voucher will be worth as much, and that if it's a voucher, what would it be for? $650 for purchasing at Popular book store? NO WAY! If you really wanna give voucher, then go ahead and award us with some useful vouchers! I mean like, we studied so hard in a country with such stressful education system, yet we are rewarded with something that we don't really want! Things changed so much after Elections 2011 and I kinda dislike some of the changes, but no choice. Need to suck it up and carry on ahead ):

Throw that under the bus, shall talk about working! Yeah, working with mum is tiring, but fun cause the working hours are flexible and you can rest. The salary is also attractive too, so maybe I shall consider sticking with my mum, even though there are times when the company do not needs help and my mum need not turn up. So, after 3 days of working, we headed to shop at Clementi. Can you imagine that? So fast spending away your hard earned money? Just kidding, I'm using money given to me to buy new clothes!I desperately needed long pants/ jeans. Great thing is that there is Christmas sales! So what are you waiting for now?  Head down to Denizen to get your jeans!

Yes this is the Denizen I'm referring to for those who still never heard of it before, it has been there for some time, but some are still oblivious of it!
Yeah, for those who are currently looking for jeans, head down there as soon as possible, cause there's a sale there now.
A pair of jeans originally cost $79.90 there.
Now, you can get 2 at $99, then get the third pair, which makes it 3, at only $119. Plus, if you spend at least $119, you get to take part in a sure-win lucky dip!

This is it! 2 for $99, 3 for $119. Quite worth it, so please head down to get it, since it's the Christmas sale season now. Get it before it's gone or when your sizes are out of stock! I was there yesterday, and many of my sizes are already gone. So don't wait, just buy. That's all, bye! (:

#34 - Customers Turned Into Birds

Wow, just realized that I haven' been updating my blog for like 11 days already. Yes, I'm back now. Really nothing much to talk about. Yeah, so I went for my nephew's first month celebration at Jurong Safra on 121210. The mealthere was okay, just that some of the food don't really suit my appetite. Overall, it's quite okay. There were like around 10 dishes to choose from - Fried Rice, Braised Noodles, Mushrooms with broccoli, Sweet & Sour Fish, Roated Chicken, Samosa, Spring Roll, Prawns coated with oat, Curry and lastly the dessert, Honey Dew Sago. My favourite was I think the spring roll, since it tasted like the one I ate during SLC'10. Overall, the food is 7/10. Yeah, didn't really took any photos there. Only some, which I'll upload maybe a few days later.

Today's my sister's birthday. So HAPPYBIRTHDAY! :D Well, she's finally 18 this year, thus she can go for driving lessons already. That's so fast. We went out with mum to Takashimaya first to settle something. wll, the christmas tree there is freaking huge, around 3 to 4 storeys high. Took some photos and then headed to Bugis. What to say once I reach there? I freaking hate Singapore's hot weather and how crowded Bugis was. Seriosuly, I don't like it. We shopped at Bugis street for 30 minutes before going to Sakae for lunch. Ate like mad and felt super full quickly. A piece of advice: Do not go to Sakae at Bugis. The service there is super bad. The first thing is that the waiters and waiteresses are not really efficient. We had to order two times for what we wanted. They probably forgotten about our order. Next, the computers there are faulty. There was an additional of 2 dishes added to our ordering list that we didn't ordered. In fact, I don't understand how this happened. The computers there are laggy too. Afterall, I don't like it. No offense seriously.  At 430, we headed back to shop at Bugis Street again. Today was a good harvesting day. My sister and I bombed my mum's wallet. HAHA! I got myself 3 bermudas at the usual shop that I go: 2nd Edition. It has like 5 branches in the whole street. I got them at a discount at 3 for SGD36. Not bad huh. My sister got herself a studded jacket, a mini jacket, a pair of RUSH heels & 2 tees with a free necklace at only SGD70. What a great discount over at bugis street, so hurry now and purchase your items there. :DD Alright, gonna end my post here. Nights.

#18 - Necessary

Hello, I'm posting again :DDDDD Alright, I shall post about some of the things bought today :D

 Compressing Bags :DDDDDD

Johnson & Johnson's Milk lotion. They smell so nice :D It also nourishes your skin, make it smooth (:
Herbal Essences Hair Shampoo for traveling. Its smell is very refreshing. (:
Lastly, Silk Whitia Aloe Vera Plus Vitamin-E Moisturizing Lip Balm. Once again, love its smell :D

Dettol's Antiseptic Cream. 99.9% Okay. No joke (:

Ultra-Carbon Pills, or what you call the Charcoal Pills. Taste extremely bad, yet very effective (: No pain, No gain.

Hershey's Milky Chocolate Perals (: Very tasty, SUPER chewy and non-sticky! :DDDDDD

Look at the tasty Pearls (: Hungry??? There's also a paper to cover the chocolate pearls. So be careful when opening, you don't want to tear the paper huh.

Yeah, a book for scribbling in Japan and a little pen torchlight (: Look beside the word 'scribble' on the book, there's some scribbling. At first I thought someone scribbled on it, but after taking a closer look, it's just an illustration.

Okay, I'm sooooo tired now. Gotta chiong my Camp things and Crystal growing competition stuff. Bye (:
