#36 - Merry Christmas

MERRY X'MAS EVERYONE!

(Okay, I meant, belated.)

Yay, I'm back with the photos on 171210. I didn't break my promise, glad to feel this way. Haha!

This huge Christmas tree seen at Takashimaya, Ngee Ann City. My sister went there to meet her friend. So my mum and I went around to explore. :D FYI, this tree is like 4 to 5 storeys tall.

Heh, this tree is in Tower A. Damn creative right? The colourful bears so cute!

This Christmas tree under Tiffany & Co. Not very big, just took a shot of it since we walked passed it.

HAHAHA! It's salivating time! Get ready for food pictures!

TA-DA!

The chawanmushi. Actually, the one at Lot One taste way better. This one @ Bugis has got an odd flavor.

Soba. The soba here ain't cold, but it's appealing right?

Soft Shell Crab-Tamaki. Didn't eat this. My sister ordered it. HAHA! I think it's delicious since my sister liked it so much.

The tofu dish. What can I say? The best tofu dish out of all the tofu dishes I had in my life. But, I still prefer Lot One's. :P

Salmon sushi. This is the only one that I like. :D

Dessert! Mango flavor Ice Cream. Way better than the brownie one. I still can remember last time how my family got scammed that there is no more mango flavor ice cream by a staff called Rosy Tan! Fish her man. She told us that there is no more mango flavor when other customers are getting it. Lie-FAIL! Yeah, we feedback about her service and she's no longer working at Lot One sakae I think :P

Last week's I-weekly magazine has got some Goodie-bag again.

What's inside the bag. So nice of them this year, and maybe the years ahead.

4 magazines - The main I-weekly, 2 guide books and I think a book about Cheers's Discount for products during Christmas.

Three packets of Spicy Mushroom Ramen. New Product. It taste so nice. I think it's better than the Kimchi flavor one. Worth trying :D!
A box-sized packet tissue. How thoughtful, for you to wipe your mouth after devouring the ramen. (:

A gold mini bag or something. For girls -.-  DUH! Yeah, that's all. Looknig forward to the next goodie-bag and I'll sure blog about it too! Heh, another promise made!

Yes, the moment. Snacks from Hokkaido! there's chocolate and Mochi!

Milk Chocolate and Melon flavored Chocolate. All manufactured in Hokkaido. It's super nice, with the centered filled with juicy and creamy melon paste for the Melon flavored one. The milk Chocolate is sweet enough and melts slowly in your mouth. One Word: Best. HAHA!
The Mochi from Narita Airport, Tokyo.  It has several odd flavors but some taste really good. I think it consist of flavors like sesame, coffee, green tea etc. Can't really find the exact flavor. HAHAHA! alright, going for wedding dinner later. Bye :D

#35 - A Month Old

As promised, I'm going to post a the pictures of my 3 nephews! All boys, seriously, no niece. HAHA! They got similar names too - Zendon, RayDen & Aayden. Wah, is this sort of a new tradition? Maybe my children next time needs to have a christian name that ends with -den. Lols!

Rayden. I think he is around five months old. He eats a lot more than his brother, Zenden.

 Aayden!

 Another picture of Aayden, sleeping.

The little kid in the middle is Zenden. He's three years old. The guy smiling away behind the elderly, who is my grandfather's brother, is his dad. My cousin is so much older than me right? Like 12 to 13 years. Yeah, this is the table I sat in the ballroom too :)

  Enjoy the picutures :D

#34 - Customers Turned Into Birds

Wow, just realized that I haven' been updating my blog for like 11 days already. Yes, I'm back now. Really nothing much to talk about. Yeah, so I went for my nephew's first month celebration at Jurong Safra on 121210. The mealthere was okay, just that some of the food don't really suit my appetite. Overall, it's quite okay. There were like around 10 dishes to choose from - Fried Rice, Braised Noodles, Mushrooms with broccoli, Sweet & Sour Fish, Roated Chicken, Samosa, Spring Roll, Prawns coated with oat, Curry and lastly the dessert, Honey Dew Sago. My favourite was I think the spring roll, since it tasted like the one I ate during SLC'10. Overall, the food is 7/10. Yeah, didn't really took any photos there. Only some, which I'll upload maybe a few days later.

Today's my sister's birthday. So HAPPYBIRTHDAY! :D Well, she's finally 18 this year, thus she can go for driving lessons already. That's so fast. We went out with mum to Takashimaya first to settle something. wll, the christmas tree there is freaking huge, around 3 to 4 storeys high. Took some photos and then headed to Bugis. What to say once I reach there? I freaking hate Singapore's hot weather and how crowded Bugis was. Seriosuly, I don't like it. We shopped at Bugis street for 30 minutes before going to Sakae for lunch. Ate like mad and felt super full quickly. A piece of advice: Do not go to Sakae at Bugis. The service there is super bad. The first thing is that the waiters and waiteresses are not really efficient. We had to order two times for what we wanted. They probably forgotten about our order. Next, the computers there are faulty. There was an additional of 2 dishes added to our ordering list that we didn't ordered. In fact, I don't understand how this happened. The computers there are laggy too. Afterall, I don't like it. No offense seriously.  At 430, we headed back to shop at Bugis Street again. Today was a good harvesting day. My sister and I bombed my mum's wallet. HAHA! I got myself 3 bermudas at the usual shop that I go: 2nd Edition. It has like 5 branches in the whole street. I got them at a discount at 3 for SGD36. Not bad huh. My sister got herself a studded jacket, a mini jacket, a pair of RUSH heels & 2 tees with a free necklace at only SGD70. What a great discount over at bugis street, so hurry now and purchase your items there. :DD Alright, gonna end my post here. Nights.

#33 - A Sniper's Cut

I'm back finally, after I MIA-ed so long. Holidays are kind of boring, I mean, next year is 'O's already and I'm sort of freaking out already. I've not even completed any homework. There's like 70 maths questions (only completed 30), 23 Geog questions (only completed 5), 2 Essays for SS & 1 essay for English. I've so LITTLE left -.- Hate myself for not doing it for the past few weeks. People around me are like trying to complete them in two days while the rest just wait till the last week of holidays then they rush, which I do not want to. I'll have to force myself to study this time I guess, since my study mode always turns off after examinations. Trust me, I forget everything I learnt this year. All the formulae, textbook answers all gone. Seriously, my brain is failing me. Kind of sad. Gonna bring the memory back and save them in my memory card ^^

YES! I found this picture. It's in our homework list!

Yeah, I got a new haircut today. Not bad, just that the hairstylist was a bit violent. He was like snipping here and then razing there. It's super painful yet it was a good haircut after all. I guess that's what people mean by No pain no gain. Yeah, that's all. Enjoy your last month of holidays before next year comes. I'm looking forward to my nephew's monthsary this sunday and relative's wedding after Christmas. Probably going for BBQ on the 10th, then head to town with siblings to shop. :D

#32 - You've Got To Be Kidding Me

HAHAHA! This is the second post of today. I'm gonna post some super funny things! Read the comments by one of the readers and be like me - laugh like mad (:

1. If you yelled for 8 years, 7 months and 6 days, you would have produced enough sound energy to heat one cup of coffee.

(Hardly seems worth it)

2. If you fart consistently for 6 years and 9 months, enough gas is produced to create the energy of an atomic bomb.

(Now that's more like it)

3. A pig's orgasm lasts for 30 minutes.

(In my next life I want to be a pig)

(If you're ambidextrous do you split the difference?)

(From drinking little bottles of...?)

(Did taxpayers pay for this research??)

9. Polar bears are left handed.

(Who knew....? Who cares? How'd they find out, did they ask them?)

10. The catfish has over 27,000 taste buds.

It's like a human jumping the length of a football field.

(30 minutes...can you imagine?? And why pigs?)

12. A cockroach will live nine days without it's head, before it starves to death.

(Creepy)

13. The male praying mantis cannot copulate while its head is attached to its body. The female initiates sex by ripping the male's head off.

(Honey, I'm home. What the....)

(Well, at least pigs get a break there...)

14. Some lions mate over 50 times a day.

(In my next life I still want to be a pig ... quality over quantity)

(I know some people like that.)

17. Starfish don't have brains.

(I know some people like that too.)

#31 - Immature

Hey guys, I'm back to blog again. Super lethargic these days and I'm like having a sore throat every few days. It's hard for me to even speak since my throat is like flooded with phlegm. Meals are hard to swallow and I ended up skipping 2 meals in one day. How nice. Yeah, I was irritated and annoyed by Twitter for the glitch two days ago for deducting my tweets away. Now, I don't know what's wrong with them. My tweets got doubled! Like seriously, twitter is so screwed up these days. I have nothing to blog recently eh. Except for the movie I caught last friday??? Guess what I'd watched????
                                                                                     .

                                                                                     .

                                                                                     .

                                                                                     .
Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows (Part One)

Well, the movie was quite okay, just that it would be better if it is a full movie. Actually, the director still cut of a lot of parts, just that this time round, they cut less. It was quite funny, but I think that I'm gonna forget it before the next part is out. It's damn funny at certain parts like when they took the Polyjuice potion. There was the part where Ron did something funny. It goes something like that:

Ron:  ( He said something about his wife and children at the basement)
Harry: Ron, you don't have a wife.
Ron: Yea.

They were actually in disguise. Curious or blur now, go watch it! (: HAHA! Alright overall, I give it a ********/**********. I bet you're counting. It's actually 8*/10*!

#30 - A Piece of Memory

I'm officially back from SLC `2010 on 24th November, 2:45pm. I'm super tired now and I'm down with a fever. There's another camp tomorrow?! I'm gonna pray hard that I can wake up for it. Haven't even prepare myself for the camp tomorrow. Well, let's put it aside. First of all, SLC was is a success. It will never be a was, since it is still successful. HAHAHA! Alright, I shall talk about the 2 & a half days!

First day was kind of great I guess. Almost everyone was early. Appreciate that, since punctuality is a virtue that all leaders should possess. Well, the juniors were so Egg-cited for the camp. I can read it from their face. HAHA! Started of with a briefing on the camp, as well as introduction of the fellow Sec 3 leaders! After that, it's time for Ice Breaking games & Bandanna Fashion Show Competition. Tribe Airai totally owned it, with Jeremy having the ultra sized boobs and mini skirt! Sad that he went home on the first day due to fever, if not there will be more fun and laughter. Lunch was speechless - Outdoor Cooking. My noodles tasted totally odd. Ate a few mouths and left the rest to shireen (: After that, it was the survivor games. Well, Pagong really had the brains! They were the last at the beginning and they shot up to around third after the survivor games. Team co-operation was their strength  and I believe if they weren't so quiet, they could have gotten top 3. I really admire Espada and Galu for fighting all the way, since their tribes were those with the least people, yet they persevered!

Galu - Tribe 9!
  Espada - Tribe 10!

Next was Dinner time! Even though the can food kind of suck(?), I'm sure you guys should understand that the sec 3s are trying to stick to the theme - Survivor (: With the dinner done, time for movie~!!!! The juniors expected a horror one and some of them did not dare to watch. I understand, it's their first year. Many expected a night walk even though it wasn't in the schedule. Guess what? They were tricked again. Pamela faked a call, saying that night walk is canceled. The Juniors' face : YAY! The Excos were like trying hard to to laugh (:

Supper time. Yuhui and Yanty handling the drinks.

 Me & amelia giving sandwiches!

 Pamela giving sandwiches too!

YEAH, SOMETHING IMPT TO TELL. Riana ate like 10 + Sandwiches. Best eater of the day.

It's time for bed next, even though there ain't any beds, as well as sleeping bag. At 3, it was the epic moment. Surprise Night Walk. Even though it ain't that scary, yet there was lot of effort put in by the sec 3s and I really appreciated it. Seriously, it was hard to advise some of the Juniors not to scream, since the residents might complain. Well after all, I would say that the night walk was almost successful, just a few hiccups here and there. Yeah, the Juniors can't use this idea anymore, until a few years later since it would be expected. HAHA!

Chilling before night walk Check out Thulasi's face. HAHAHA!

The ghost/dolls of Nightwalk (:  Izzati and Syazana.
The three funny faces. Elsa, Nadra & Riana.
Tambaqui in their Fright Night holding Area. Cute huh!
Night walk ended at around 5:15 am, and we went to sleep again. The sec 3s slept for 1 - 2 hours before they start the activity next day. Physical Training was canceled since we wanted the Juniors to rest well (: After breakfast, it's time for Amazing Race (: I'm the organizer, yay! Well, it did went off smoothly, just that it was affected by the rain. My apologies too, with some error in the clue for detour, regarding the block numbers. Well, Galu came in first, while Ogakor was the only team that completed the whole league of the race. Next, the sec 1 student leaders went for the workshop while the Sec 2 and 3s went for council meeting.

Ready for amazing race & heading out.

Ccac and Sc are merging to be Unity Council. I'm sure everyone was like what???!!!! Well, the school actually did this because we see that the leaders have proven themselves well enough, and we want them to work together and lead the school, while they learn from one another. Everyone will benefit after all. I agree that the 2 councils have different characteristics, yet they are both leaders. To me, I feel that this is really great. At last, everyone would not only be a Hyper person, but also understand how to run various school events, and be a leader that have the capability the change his or her character according to different events. If one can do so, I'm sure everyone can too.

Time for Campfire. Even though everyone wasn't RAHRAH enough, at least we put in effort. The campfire was a success, just that there was a lack of atmosphere. Still great. Love the Sec three dance even though it wasn't that well.I simply just love the campfire, especially the campfire songs - Flea fly & My side.

My side ( EL + TL)

My side, my side,
My side, my front, my back.
My side, my front, my side, my back, my side, my front, my back!

Edited version!
Ravin, Ravin,
Ravin, Maithily,Thulasi.
Ravin, Maithily, Ravin, Thulasi, Ravin, Maithily, Thulasi!

No offense intended, we seriously find it hard to pronounce Tamil ><

  The Emcees. Amalina & Shireen.

After Campfire, the sec threes received a lecture from Mr Teo. I mean like, I know everyone feels a bit sleepy already. However, even though it was a long lecture, I'm sure we understand how he feel actually. We did our best and yeah, we carried on to hype up everyone on the third day. Before sleep, slacked with Mr Goh and Jovita, Hakim, Krisada, Pamela, Jessie, Jia Hui, Elsa, Janice etc etc. Kind of nice to be gossiping around (:

Third day arrived and  PT in the morning. To  tell frankly, this PT is already lenient enough. Last year's SLC PT was worst. After breakfast, wet telematch. I'm dry (: Well, it's kind of heart pain for me to see my juniors getting injured. Sabri - Infected abrasion wound from a fall. He teared from the pain when alcohol was pressed against the wound. He was motivated by us, and survived the pain. Good job and GWS. Nicolette - Fell during the course of wet telematch. Abrasions on knees and Elbow. GWS and Jy for camp next year! Letitia - The one who whave 3 toe nails breaking off with lots of blood oozing. She didn't even cry. You are brave! GWS and see you soon with a recovered foot! Last of all, thank you Pearlyn & Nickson & Ying Cui & Atiqah for helping out in being first aid-ers when Min Yee is no around. We make a great first-aid team! :DDDDDDDDDDDDD

After area cleaning, we had debrief plus prize presentation. Rankings below:

1st - Airai, tribe 5. 602 pts.
2nd - Tambaqui, tribe 3. 558 pts.
3rd - Lopevi, tribe 6. 534 pts.
4th - Forza, tribe 7. 533 pts.
5th - Galu, tribe 9. 524 pts.
6th - Espada, tribe 10. 503 pts.
7th - Pagong, tribe 1. Ogakor, tribe 2. 491 pts
9th - Chapera, tribe 4. 485 pts.
10th - Timbira, tribe 8. 458 pts.

Well, the man focus is not on the points, but the leadership skills learnt and imparted. I really hope every one will love and treasure this piece of wonderful memory. Look forward to see all this potential leaders carry on the tradition as the years go by. Even though there is a merge, definitely, a stronger bond will be created. Hiccups may appear along the way, but what is important is the skills learnt from one another, as well as the team work developed. All the best to UCC endeavours. Future leaders fight on.

SLC `2010 HUAT ARH! Love you all.

Last but not least, thanks NadraMo for the pictures :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

#29 - A Hungry Man, Indeed An Angry Man

Hello! I'm back for a short post. Craving for hotdogs recently....

A hotdog bread! (: So cute!

Nah, not this kind. Hope can eat a real one soon. I'm craving for it. Long time never eat already.

This is the one I want.

Alright, bye (:

#28 - Carelessness is Expensive

Yeah, I'm back to post again. Well, today kind of sucked for me. Chemistry SPA, I studied so hard for it, yet a careless mistake killed me. I wrote the temperature wrongly, 36.5 as 46.5 It would most likely cost me 2m. Like OMG? I know how to do the experiment, just that I was careless. Screw it man. Well, I've been down these days, due to academic and time management. Life is really short and that kind of suck. You will always get defeated by yourself, your careless mistakes. I seriously hate carelessness.

After all, I guess everyone is sad after the SPA too. Almost the whole class has at least one mistake. I could hardly find some with none. Yeah, now I'm feeling better, after repeating in my mind the motivational phrases. One from Jing Ru: Look ahead and be positive, and you'll achieve your desired results. One from myself: Being demoralized is the best motivation. One from my sis: You don't need a 100 to get an A1. Well, that is freaking true. Now, I'm just hoping that I will do better for the other practical assesments. Be positive!

I'm really touched by today, regarding the farewell party for the seniors. Even though it's not that well done, however, we did put in effort I guess. I'm looking forward to Student Leadership Camp. After tomorrow, I'm free from school. I don't have to cry over spilled milk anymore. No point doing that by the way. Alright, shall end today's post with a quote from Shireen that I really loved:" Just because you're the last person to start the race, it doesn't mean that you can't finish first." That's motivating! (: Cheers!

#27 - HeadShot

Haha! I'm back to post again, short one today. Someone made my day & it's none other than......

 윤아 (: Yoona :D

Well well, somebody obviously didn't spoil my day, but my mood. ):

Don't worry, Yoona will be there to Bang her (: HEEHEE :D Someone said Jessica's singing is not good, and Jessica is ugly, and sings with nasal-ness. Well, HELL NO. WTF, if Jessica is like this, then what about that Hyoyeon??? No offense! Hyoyeon can't even dance better than Yuri! So what is Hyoyeon good at? Well, trying to be like the girls in SNSD ( No offense!)

#26 - Spent Too Much Thoughts

Hey I'm back to post after a week's rest. Yeah, I think I'm done. I'm so not gonna get an 'A' for my normal mother tongue paper. Firstly, last 2 or 3 months, came the oral and Listening Comprehension. What to say? Oral, I'm still fine. Listening Comprehension???? Screw it. There was thunderstorm on that day & I was like in a dilemma for many questions. Guess what? The answers were like 50%-50%. I took the wrong one for all my dilemmas and the correct ones are the ones that I chose to give up on during the dilemma. Okay, next. Paper 1. Hmmmmm. The letter writing was fine. Hope I can get like 16 & above. The free writing was _(insert any word)_. Hope can get like 34 and above? That's not too bad I guess. Now is the time. Screw you paper 2. I was unsure of 3 questions in the cloze passage. All my first answers were right. i changed three of them after checking and guess what? I made the wrong choice in a dilemma again. WTFFFFF??????? Why must it always be like this? Checking seriously just make you more and more nervous and end up screwing everything. The back of the paper was great actually. The MCQ passage probable a 18/20 and the comprehension maybe a 30 out of 40 I guess. Afterall, I can only get like 53/70, which is like just getting an A1. Plus my screwed up area, I'll probably settle down with a B3 or just nice, A2. I mean, A2 is good. But, I want an A1. Everyone seems to be confident to get one. I just can't help it but think too much over it. What if I get a B3? I'll be like F___ man. I'll have to force myself to memorize the dictionary and take another 'o' level paper for 50 bucks! What now. No point crying over spilled milk I guess. I just pray hard that I'll get an A, preferably an A1.

I shall not think of it tonight! Spoil my appetite. Hmm, these days had English workshop. quite okay, funny at times. I learnt a lot, but sort of don't like to copy so much. There's always this word which keep pooping in my mind now - Generalise! I just can't stop thinking about it cause it was mentioned so many times during the workshop. HAHA! I haven't eaten since this morning till just now @ around 4. How great I can be! I only had a slice of pizza and a tub of Ben & Jerry. Dining out later I guess. Don't really feel like going out. After this massive shit Chinese paper, SPA for chemistry is coming up next Monday. There's like insufficient practices for it. Simply irritating ttm can, since we only like practice the experiments for once. for goodness sake, since the teachers want us to score well for our 'O's, why aren't they giving us more practices to perfect ourselves and help the school to achieve more distinctions for Chemistry??? SPA is 20% okay!

I seriously have so much to express and I'm really looking forward to the SLC, to let myself relax a bit, and maybe for another overseas trip??? Someone being me overseas can? If not, I'll be bored to death at home and cry over my pathetic results for 'o'. Miss Lee gave us 70 questions for maths homework to do during the holidays. Shall finish it soon. There's nothing to complain about actually, compared to 38, we are doing so much lesser (: Sense of relief. Post till here. Bye readers (:
